The Oldie Music Festival at the Arena Oberhausen
We were truly impressed by the performance in Oberhausen. Since Harpo's gig was cancelled because of illness, the other bands got to play a little longer. Daniel Boone started it all up, followed by the Beatles Revival Band and Racey.
The Rubettes featuring A.W. were next and the guys gave a tremendous performance - all that while battling a cold. And yes, of course, just when I tried once more to get all band members on a photo while performing "After the Gold Rush" ... my batteries went flat!
We had a chance to go backstage after the gig, talked to John for a while, met some really need folks - all along we had a blast!
