Rubettes & Sailor celebrate their 30th Anniversary in Holland

A special tour through Holland starts in November !

Rubettes

Between the 20th of November and the 3rd of December, two legendary groups from the 70’s will embark on a unique tour that takes them through eleven Dutch cities. The Rubettes and Sailor are celebrating their 30th anniversary and will treat their fans to all their famous hits and favorites in a two and a half hour show.

The Rubettes, famous for their white caps and high voices, became household names in 1974 with a song that’s become one of the most famous and recognizable hits of the 70’s, Sugar Baby Love. Other hits, among many, were Tonight, Jukebox Jive and I Can Do It.

Sailor

In the same year, another band with an unusual sound and appearance showed up in the charts. They were Sailor and they also enjoyed huge European success with hits like Glass of Champagne, Girls Girls Girls and La Cumbia which was a surprise hit for them in the 90’s.

A unique tour and it surely will be special since this is the first time both bands appear on tour in almost 30 years.

According to the website of the tour, Goldenclassics, several shows are also taking place in towns near the German border. Among these are Kerkrade, Roermond (both in the Limburg province) and Rijssen in Overijssel.

For international customers most tickets can be purchased via www.ticketmaster.nl or tel. (+31) 70 41 69 337. Check also Goldenclassics for more info.

Our redesigned webpage

We have redesigned our webpage and hope you'll like the new look. Some of you might wonder why we created this "new look"?

The answer is simple, we would like to reach more people, including those with impaired vision. We decided to offer additional and easier options to access the information, i.e., being able to change the page layout and the text/picture size. While we were redoing the site, we also removed the old table format.

We welcome your feedback and any suggestions to further improve the site. Just email us your opinion.
